Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Caracol Sports Club ("we") collects when you visit the club, contact us, use this website or use our workout app; what we do with it; and the choices you have. Caracol Sports Club, #146B Cuba Street, Sangkat Niroth, Khan Chbar Ampov, Phnom Penh, is responsible for this information.

When you register as a member, we record your name, phone number and membership. When you message us on Telegram or Facebook, call or email us, we receive your name, contact details and what you tell us. When you register a child or ask about swim lessons for them, their parent or guardian gives us the child's name and age.

When you sign in to the workout app with Telegram or Google, we receive your name, profile photo, and your Telegram ID or email address from them. We never see your password. The app stores the workouts you plan and log, your goals, and any details you choose to add, such as your weight.

The workout app builds workout plans with AI services from OpenAI and Anthropic. To create a plan, we send them only what the plan needs: your goals, your workout history and the details you've entered. When you post in Community, we also send your note and photo to them to check that they follow the Community Rules. A post the check flags, or that a member reports, is hidden from everyone but you until club management looks at it on Telegram and decides whether it stays. A plan is a suggestion you can change, and no decision about your membership is made by AI.

The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, to deliver and protect the site. Signing in sets a cookie that keeps you signed in, and the site saves a few settings in your browser. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Cameras record around the club for safety and security. There are no cameras in changing rooms, showers or toilets. Recordings are overwritten automatically after a limited time. Only club management views them, and we share footage only with the police or when the law requires it.

We show photos and videos of members on this website and our social media only with their consent, and for children only with a parent's or guardian's consent. To have one removed, contact us.

We use your information to run your membership and check who enters the club, reply to your messages, introduce you to a swim teacher, run the workout app, keep the club safe, and improve our facility, programs and app. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising.

We share information only with the service providers that help us run the club and the app: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), OpenAI and Anthropic (workout plans and checking Community posts), Telegram and Google (sign-in), Telegram (where club management checks Community posts that are held) and our email provider. Some of them process data outside Cambodia, and they may use it only to provide their service to us. When you ask about swim lessons, we pass your contact details to the teacher we introduce you to. We also share information when the law requires it.

We keep membership and workout app information while your membership or account is active and for 12 months after your last visit or sign-in, then delete it. We keep messages as long as we need them to help you. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Information about children comes from their parent or guardian, who can ask to see, correct or delete it at any time.

Only the people who need your information can see it, and it travels over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your information, we will tell you.

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, including your workout app account. Contact us and we will reply within 30 days.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. For important changes, we will also tell members in the app or by message.
